| Description: | "New Zealander Denis Hulme wins the Monaco Grand Prix with British driver Graham Hill, second; Chris Amon, New Zealand, third. But Lorenzo Bandini, leading Italian driver, is critically injured in a fiery crash near the end of the race. He dies in the hospital a few days later.
