| Description: | "Money Making". London. At the Royal Mint we see various shots of the process involved in making money. Silver ingots are unloaded from a truck. They are melted down in the furnaces then the molten metal is turned into strips. Discs are stamped out of the strips. A special machine puts on the head and tail of each coin and the serrated edge. Girls watch coins go by on a conveyor belt and pick out any duds. Women pack the coins into sacks and tie the ends. A man weighs each bag, then they are loaded onto a truck and driven off. Good shots of men and women at work in a factory. | |
