| Description: | Most Noble Order of Crusaders - wearing their Medieval robes - attend laying of foundation stone of extension to hospital. London. L/S of the men from the Noble Order of Crusaders in their robes with crosses on the front. They march along and people watch from the side. They turn a corner, and we see them carrying flags with stars and crosses on. M/S as they stand around the stone and one Crusader puts things in the bottom of the foundations, possibly coins. M/S after the stone has been lowered, one Crusader is handed a sword, he touches each corner of the stone with the handle while making a speech. He then hands the sword back to the leader of the ceremony who touches the middle of the stone with it. | |
