| Description: | Fiction film .Automobiles. "Motor Tour." Comedy. ca. 1910? Tracking shots mostly; in front of car coming down road. Old Napier car; w/ a black [white man in blackface] chauffeur driving a white couple; stops on a country road; all 3 get out and run around frantically. The 2 men both try to work on the motor. They get in fight; white man (of course) knocks black man down; gets in driver's seat himself. They drive off w/ o him. Car approaching on road; w/ chauffeur running after. Car breaks down again. Chauffeur appears & they fix it; all 3 set out again. The man wants to go faster and he leans out of car and does something to it which causes car to almost go out of control. Car driving down the road; w/ occupants arguing; car swerving back & forth; and camera zooming in & out. Slapstick. Racism. | |
