A horse and cart drive over the rubble and women walk past with possessions on their heads. Various shots of people walking about amongst the rubble trying to go about their business. A Priest and military officer walk down the street. M/S of the lava again, the camera pans across it to the town, various shots of fires in the woods, L/S of the scene, smoke rises. C/U of the lava, the camera pans slowly across it. M/S of military men in the town, L/S of the town. M/S as lava pours out of the top of the volcano, people stand round the bottom where is has stopped and settled. Various shots are repeated from earlier, the camera pans across the rubble of collapsed buildings. Various shots as hay carts drive through the town and people try and repair the roof of a house.
