France Various shots of French scientist Louis Rey, breaking an egg in his Laboratory, dissecting the chicken's embryo contained in the egg, he then cuts off the heart and places it in a mixture of glycerine, which enables the fragile piece of flesh to resist freezing. CUs of chicken's heart being dipped into container filled with liquid nitrogen, the life of the frozen heart is stopped. After several weeks the heart is placed into a container filled with a nourishing substance to unfreeze it, where the heart again beats at its normal speed. CU of the heart beating.
