United Kingdom MLS 3 male lions on a board balanced over a sawhorse, like a sort of homemade teeter-totter; cage bars in BG. LS same. MLS one lion lies across 2 square stools , c. 4' high; another lion jumps over him. Next, the lion repeats the trick, then turns and jumps back over again. This shot is repeated w/ film trick ("our famous process-camera") making it look like the lion is jumping back and forth over the other one, going from hind paws to front paws to hind paws to front, etc. LS leopard on top of one of these stools or mini-platforms, preparing to jump; he makes an impressive leap to left, landing somewhere off cam. Another view of leopard jumping, shot from down beside one of the stools; the leopard jumps toward us from the other stool; film stops while he is in mid-air, then as he lands it goes backward and forward, then switches to reverse to make him jump backward back to the stool. Next, shot of tiger jumping over a rope; film stops at a few different parts of jump, then goes in reverse. | |
