| Description: | A disastrous landslide wrecks the Yugoslavian town, compounding the hardships of a record 4-week old cold wave. All communications of the stricken village was cut off. A mountain of snow delayed rescue efforts as exposure took an added toll. Thousands were evacuated from neighboring communities also threatened by snow-covered mountains. It was one of the worst natural disasters ever to hit Yugoslavia. Establishing shot - A shot of a house that the roof caved in due to the weight of the snow. MS - Shots of the snow landslide that hit the town. MLS - Snow almost to the bottom of the roof of a house. MS - Town’s people queue down a mountain path. CUS - Man carrying his child. CUS - Woman carrying her child. CUS - Woman crying a soldier standing in the background. OHS - Throngs attend a funeral of people who perished because of the amount of snow. Coffins crowd the back of flat bed trucks. CUS - Mourners walking towards the camera carrying wreath of flowers and a banner of sorts.
