| Description: | NERVE Madame Olga Celeste playing with lions in cage. Nice film about a female lion tamer. She strokes and plays with her charges. These are all rather small lionesses or partly grown lions, or possibly even mountain lions/cougars. Untied Kingdom MLS Mme Celeste stands w/ arms held wide and a lioness jumps up into a hug, licks her face etc.; 2 others are seen in BG. Shots of Celeste sitting on bench w/ lion standing on bench or on boxes beside her; great show of love & affection with much petting by the woman and head rubbing by the lioness. Celeste grabbing lioness' jaw and trying to open her mouth which suggestion is met with resistance. But then she gives the big cat a kiss. MS lioness draped over Celeste's shoulders; lioness leans her head down and rubs it on Celeste's hand, then sort of nuzzling/gnawing combination at her face- -all very friendly, and Celeste seems to be doing it back to the lioness, continues talking & smiling. MLS Celeste lying on floor of cage playing with lioness; in the course of this the lioness takes a good chomp on the Celeste's shoulder and Celeste slaps her face, etc. Meanwhile another lioness sits right beside her and the 3rd paces back and forth in BG. The sitting one gets up and rubs heads with Celeste, walks around, sniffs behind the playing lioness, looks up w/ flehmen reaction. MS lion standing up on box at rt;, Celeste stands at left, holding a whip and not hitting the lion with it but rather teasing, using it like a toy. The animal stays in the upright position, leans back w/ ears back then finally is pissed off and snarls. (Animals, lions, lioness, trainer, zoo, pets, brave, dangerous, tame, cute, love) | |
