Cut to the patrol car where we see a copy of the photo coming out of the fax machine there. A policeman sitting in the driver's seat picks up the information. M/S of patrol car sitting by the side of a road. The policeman inside spots the stolen car and gives chase with siren blaring. The police car passes the stolen car. C/U of wanted car registration plate (stationary shot). Pan up to show the policeman opening the driver's door and pulling out the thief then removing the key from the car ignition. Good footage of early fax machines in use. CU Man's hand on message inserting it into machine. CU Message going into machine. GV Ext. patrol car standing in street.
