Various shots of a dozen or so shire horses and a crowd of men pulling the cable along the beach. "Everybody in the village lent a hand!" High angled L/S of a crowd of men and boys trudging through the sand, pulling the cable. More shots of men and horses pulling the cable across the beach. M/S of men pulling the cable over the sand dunes towards the village. "From ship to hut ... a mile and a half of cable, weighing 45 tons".
