They are Balalaika girls (girls from one of the West End shows) and they are accompanied by Mr. Roger Travis (sp?). Women change into bathing suits and run towards swimming pool. They jump into pool and start swimming. Several shots of the women and Mr. Travis having a tea at the edge of the pool - many women still in the water. Various shots of the women jumping rope in high heels, jumping, exercising etc. Some jumping shots are done in slow motion. The showgirls pretend to film Roger with a newsreel camera. Cut to shot of the Pathe cameraman drinking gin. | |
