| Description: | ST. NICHOLAS DAY IN AUSTRIA. Lienz, Austria. A church door opens and St. Nicholas with two of his companions walks out. St. Nicholas followed by his companions and a number of 'devils' with unique masks walking through the village. He knocks on a door and a woman with children appears at the door. Children make the sign of a cross to show they are good. One boy puts his thumb to his nose and waggles it at Santa. Well, that means he's bad and one of the devils rushes up and scoops the lad up, depositing him in the basket of another devil. They dance. This is slightly different version from the longer story. Several shots are missing but not the ones which would make a difference to the story. This is a short version of the newsreel story "St. Nicholas Day in Austria" - 34/103.
