| Description: | ON PREVIEW CASSETTE 98030 Note on film box says just that, "Nice Fat Woman," but the woman in scene doesn't fit the bill (though she may be nice). She's reclining on a deck chair in the sun, reading the newspaper. This is a continuation of the home movie/travel footage of Chicago meat packing executive Robert Altman. Film is undated, but similar to other material marked 1927. A man reclines with the woman, smokes a cigarette. Blurry shots of kids swimming, horseback riding. Exposures vary. 02:05:05 looks like visit to an Indian reservation, with Native American kids posing with white woman, then dancing by kid in headdress and older males. Ice skating scenes back home, then a nice shot of a man on a boat, eating a sandwich and drinking milk from a small bottle. 02:07:52 more shots of man and woman in garden of what may be a hotel or hospital, then woman reading newspaper. 02:09:19 slow-motion shots of kids running to camera, playing with a football (unfortunately out of focus for the most part). 02:11:00 little girl jumps in slow motion for camera. 02:11:30 normal speed shots of kids running to camera, then shown sped up. Little girl stands on her head to the acclaim of her pers. In focus shots of girl catching and throwing football. 02:12:00 now we get creative... reverse printing has boy and girl running to camera, then film appears to play backwards and they reverse. Man stands on head and kicks his heels, shadow boxes. 02:12:48 good shot of 2 boys and girl carving pumpkins for Halloween, little girls struggling with pumpkins. | |
