| Description: | NIGHTMARE ROBOTS (aka MAD ROBOT) Comedian Bruce Lacey shows us his surreal home-made robots. Somewhere near the Caledonian Road, London. Various shots show a bizarre robot moving along a street; it is operated by comedian Bruce Lacey with a remote control box. The robot has moving arms (human-style), a flashing lamp for a head and a pair of luscious red lips. At Bruce's home we see more surreal robots in a cluttered workshop, several with moving body parts and mannequin heads. Bruce adjusts the first robot we saw and demonstrates the kissing lips. Several shots of the workings of the robots; a mannequin male head with moving eyes - spooky! Bruce apparently had one of these robots as best man at his wedding; it handed him the ring on cue, via remote control. | |
