King George V and Queen Mary on one of their "Jubilee Drives." School children are assembled outside Buckingham Palace to witness the Jubilee State drive of George V. most are sitting and drinking milk. Commmentator tells about school milk program. 3000 gallons of milk was provided. Strolling amongst them was Mr Walter Elliot (Minister for Agriculture) and Mr Ramsbottom. Groups of girls drinking milk, others are waving. Various shots of royal procession. The King and Queen are driven out of Buckingham Palace in the State horse and carriage to the applause of a mass of children. They drive to Marylebone Town Hall and meet the Mayor. VG close ups of the Royals. Getting back into their carriage they return to the Palace via Oxford Street and Piccadilly Circus. With the constant cheers of the crowd. | |
