She steps down and picks up a long piece of fabric from her sewing machine table, shows it to the girl and holds it up against her. Girl helps hold the cloth while mother cuts it. MS same. She holds it up to girl again. MS mother sits down at sewing machine, daughter hurries to join her and watches while mummy starts to sew. Iris out. Iris in: MS pinafore now complete, mother ties it on the child. MCU same. Girl turns around to show all sides, both mother and daughter looking very happy.
