| Description: | Footage is damaged. Speaking of jumping....they hold the annual World's Barrel Jumping Contest at Grossingers, New York...and there's a new record act. For the first time the winner clears seventeen barrels, one more than the previous mark. Outdoors at a park in New York they are holding Barrel Jumping Contest. One skater skates to build up speed, he approaches the barrels and jumps only to hit the last barrel that is lined up. Another skater another build-up of speed and another crash into the last barrel. The referee puts down another barrel making it sixteen in a row. Ken Labelle skates building up his speed and takes the jump and makes it. Another jumper takes on the barrels and falls two short. Jacque takes the barrels with a camera hooked up to him and we all see what's it's like to jump barrels. The referee adds on another barrel making it 17 barrels. Leo Labell takes on the jump and does not make it. The Canadian trys and he can't make it either. It's up to Ken Labell to try and make 17 - barrels and he skates, he builds up speed and he jumps and he makes it, breaking a World's Record. | |
