	Description:	OLD SPANISH CUSTOMS Scenes from Spanish village - music & dancing, women washing clothing. Spanish Flamenco dancers and women who wash clothes in a Spanish river. People are called "gypsies" in titles, but they may not be. Spain "And old Spanish costumes, when the gypsies convert the nearest road into a ballroom..." Two women dance a Flamenco in a village street. LS 2 Spanish women dancing in public square. Musicians and spectators watch the dancing. Crowd behind them, some people playing guitars and tambourines, others clapping along in rhythm. MCU one of the dancers dances in place. She moves her arms, making fluttering motions with one hand while playing castanets with the other. She wears a polka-dotted dress w/ short sleeves trimmed w/ big ruffles, and a fringed shawl worn over her shoulders and crossed in front. MCU other dancer doing similar movements. "The ladies in the orchestra encourage maximum noise at minimum expense." Good panning shot of a dozen women playing the castanets. MCU pan on women in crowd playing castanets or clapping their hands. They wear clothing similar to that of the dancers, and some of them wear a flower sticking straight up from their head! The women are all smiling and laughing and look like they're having fun. "And just round the corner the washing ladies of the village listen to another kind of music - the river."
