| Description: | On the fringe of the Pole No. 4. In the staunch little Morrissey we journey with bluff old Capt. Bartlett to the far North. We return to our Eskimo friends. North Pole. Various shots of huskies pulling sledges over the snow as Eskimos come to greet Captain Bob Bartlett and company as they arrive by boat. Captain Bartlett narrates this item, telling us about the Eskimos and their culture. Several Eskimos (men, women and children) arrive by canoe at the boat and are welcomed aboard. They eat some stew on board. A man turns over and over in his kayak canoe to entertain the others. At an evening celebration the Eskimos dance around a fire. One woman has a papoose / baby strapped to her back. "Look out for another instalment coming shortly." | |
