| Description: | Dull in imagery and contrast Ex-marine sergeant jay hall, wounded in korea, tells how he learned about Brotherhood in combat, the hard way. He urges support for President Eisenhower, Honorary Chairman of the Educational Brotherhood week campaign in this program to make America a better place to live. MCUS - A soldier walks on to the stage with a cane and he addresses the audience "How do you do? Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Jay Hall, ex sergeant of the 7th marines. I'm a ex-sergeant because of my bum leg. A piece of shrapnel got me in the leg outside of Seoul Korea. Korea is pretty rugged, you learn a lot of things over there besides soldiering, you learn about your buddies and what they are thinking about the war and about home. I would like to talk to you about home. And something that is happening here at home. It's called Brotherhood Week. And its good news to all of us who has been to Korea to learn that President Eisenhower is honorary chairman. Join with the President believes what he says, take an extra interest in Brotherhood week and making your contribution through the educational work that's being done. By making this country a better place to live in and all of us better people with a better understanding of our neighbors, no matter who they are. How about It?" Thank you. After this message on the screen it states; (SIGN UP IN THE LOBBY!) Another message appears: (The Honor Roll - with your name will be bent to The White House.) | |
