London, England First shot shows lighted marquee: "Norma Shearer in Trelawney of the Wells"; rest of screen is black. Then LS front of cinema lit by spotlights with big crowd in winter coats and hats milling about outside and more people continuing to arrive; automobiles pass in FG. Low angle LS upper part of building; incl.sign EMPIRE THEATRE at top; below this a decorated fan window inside indented arch atop pillars, on a 2nd floor (1st floor to Europeans) balcony; tilt down to show street level again. Closer shot panning along street with a great crowd on both sides of street- -obviously a major event! Closer shot middle class very 1920s crowd in front of theater entrance. LS from park across st.w/ bare branches of tree in FG. Tilt down to nice shot from behind spotlight operators under tree aiming at theatre across street (in BG).. Pan down st.
