MS Looking through arched window at a narrow turret with conical top. GV looking over Covent Garden; tilt down showing trucks parked for unloading. Another GV Covent Garden with trucks, crates stacked on pallets, etc MCU Oranges being unloaded from lorry. CU Man taking box of oranges from lorry he turns and walks out of picture carrying box of oranges. MS Looking across road at lorry bring unloaded. MS Children c. age 4-5 playing "Oranges and Lemons" in Covent Garden. (This is a circle game played while chanting a nursery rhyme.) Spain MS Spanish children playing a different circle game; there are more kids and a wider age range; orange grove in BG; the kids are all dressed in fancy national costumes (Boys have bright colored shiny 'bolero' jackets & breeches with white stockings, a variety of odd little caps with tassels hanging down; girls have long dresses with small lacy shawls over shoulders.) CU Two small children (boy & girl) hold hands and turn around in middle of the circle of other children. CU Four children in national costume swaying with the music (& one is playing castanets) while watching children playing. MS kids skipping round in the circle; in BG woman appears from orange grove claps hands and calls children; children all go running into the orange grove. (Everybody looks over-dressed for such work - -the adults, too, are wearing national costumes with fancy lace; it's hard to believe that these are their everyday clothes ) MS Orange grove. CU Two women in national costume picking oranges; a boy walks past them with basket and heads farther down the row; another small boy places basket on ground and begins picking oranges. CU boy (c age 10?) cutting oranges off the tree. CU Women picking oranges; two small girls come over and stand beside her. CU Small girl (c age 4?) picking oranges. Two boys picking oranges; camera pans down to baskets of oranges. CU Women picking oranges; two men walk into picture, pick up baskets of oranges and walk out of picture. CUs Oranges on tree. (2 shots). NORTH AFRICA (MOROCCO?) CU Man playing a wind instrument. CU 4 boys playing a game, holding hands and walking round in circle; they start to speed up. Israel Interesting because the music and dance shown here probably means these are recent East European Jewish emigrants to Israel. CU someone's hand playing on keys of an accordion. CU Man lifts crate of oranges from truck and places crate on another man's shoulder who then drops the crate of oranges; camera pans down to show oranges rolling over the pavement. MS Children playing Oranges and Lemons; suddenly they break off and run out of picture (apparently they have noticed this lucky windfall - or rather 'crate fall'. MS Children racing towards camera to oranges on pavement and begin to grab up oranges. CUs of these cute little boys and girls frantically stuffing oranges inside their shirts!
