Various shots show the Prince of Wales (Duke of Windsor, King Edward VIII) walking about fishing boats and the docks of Grimsby, accompanied by a large entourage and watched by huge crowds of fishermen. The Prince climbs the stepladder of a ship (?), followed by another man. L/S of a section of a bridge being lifted to allow a ship through; it is covered with flags and people on it wave - presumably the Prince is among them!
