Camera stays on one middle-aged couple walking through market toward camera, talking; they appear middle to upper class, the man in white with brown woven (?) fez sort of hat, carrying briefcase, woman in flowered shirt and yellow sari, no veil, carrying western style handbag; MS to CU as they draw near. MS pan w/ same couple walking past fruit stands and carts, children working or hanging out. GV looking out an upper window; in FG looks like piles of produce and other goods stacked by sheds, in BG various buildings incl. towers of mosque. Pan left to look out another window overlooking the market street. Rows of awnings stretching out from small shops in buildings on either side. Smaller stalls with white square awnings set up in mid street, lots of people. Pan back again. LS panning on marketplace. Same busy scene, with telephone/ electrical wires criss crossing all over above the action. | |
