| Description: | A panto peep - In which we meet Dick Whittington (Dorothy Dickson) at the Garrick Theatre, London. London. M/S of Dorothy Dickson, in costume as Dick Whittington, singing a love song to a girl as part of a pantomime at the Garrick Theatre. Numerous other members of the cast stand onstage watching. We then see a little comedy sketch in the show, where a man puts a bucket of fire under a bench. Two other men come along and sit on the bench, leaping up as the fire burns their bottoms. The first man comes skipping past and they get him to sit in the same spot, but get no reaction from him. As he dances off-stage we see he is wearing big white pants with 'Fireproof Asbestos' written across them. | |
