	Description:	PARIS IN AUGUST Paris is empty as everyone has gone on their August holidays. Paris, France Front POV travelling along the Champs Elysees looking towards the Arc de Triomphe. There is absolutely no traffic on the rainy, slick street. Two additional front POV shots along the streets in Paris, which is nearly deserted. MS (side POV) Two men on little motorbikes. MV Rows of empty seats of a pavement cafe. MS One man sitting in sidewalk cafe with his feet up on the empty chair in front of him, he sips coffee and reads a newspaper in the deserted city. POV (side) from moving car of deserted pavement along the riverbank in Paris. MS Inside passenger bus, and there is only one traveler as it moves through streets (this man also has his feet propped up on the seat opposite him as he reads a paper). CU Boulangerie (bakery) signage. VS Baker shops, etc. in Paris, with the shutters up and closed signs in the window (the sign reads that the shop is closed from August 3 to September 5) . CU of closed, locked gates in front of storefronts. CU A long haired man (shaggy hair, unkempt) approaching a salon (hairdresser) to find it is closed until September. CU Bewildered face of would-be patron. CU Another long-haired man in sunglasses walking in Paris. GV of the oldest church in Paris which is on the left bank. GV Two famous left bank cafes which are closed for the season (signage indicates that they will reopen in September). CU signage that says "Reouverture en Septembre." GV Exterior of a Paris theatre which is closed. VS Fountains which are not spouting water. VS Men in strange costumes and other tourists in line at an open restaurant, the Pilier Ouest (it is crowded as it is one of the few businesses open during this time). VS Tourists queuing up (lining up) to go up the observation deck in the Eiffel Tower. VS Inside tourist bus as it travels the empty streets of Paris. MS a man leaning out a window on the bus to snap a photograph (photo). CU Man in sunglasses with headphones on and a head-covering (mantilla? handkerchief?) as he looks out the window at the Eiffel Tower. CU Feet of tourists as they walk up onto a curb. VS Tourist on steps of the Sacre Coeur including one fat (plump) woman walking up steps. GV Exterior Sacre Coeur at Montmartre. CU Rain pounding the pavement. VS On the camping site (tents, campers) on the Bois de Boulogne as the campers endure a downpour of rain. Some tourists walk or sit outside of their campers or tents, and one woman knits as the rain falls around her.
