At Flamingo Park Zoo we see bird trainer Al Harlen with parrots he has trained to do tricks. MS Parrot flapping its wings on pedestal. LS Man takes parrot off perch and places it on table. MS Man places parrot on table in front of block which contains square star and circle shapes. Man takes shapes out of block and gives parrot the square which he puts in the right shape then the star and then the circle. Man gives parrot tit-bit and then he takes shapes out again and parrot repeats but in different orders. MS Audience watching. MS Man places three beakers on table and puts a pea under one of them. CU Man shuffles beakers around. CU Parrot watching. MS Man shuffling beakers when he stops parrot picks up beaker with the pea underneath and man hands him another tit-bit. Man puts pea under beaker and shuffles them again. He stops and parrot picks up right beaker. MS Man collects up beakers and takes them away. Man puts piggy bank on table and then places coins at other end. Parrot picks one up and puts it in piggy bank. CU Parrot picks another coin up and places it in bank walks back and picks up another and walks towards bank. CU Parrot putting coin in bank walks back and picks up last coin and puts it in bank. MS Bike on tightrope. Man places parrot on bike. LS Parrot starts pedalling bike along tightrope. MS Parrot pedals along tightrope toward man. MS Man feeding parrot on bike. CU Man places tit-bit under bonnet of car and closes lid. MS Man places parrot in car - and parrot starts car - pan l to r with car as it moves. Man catches car at other end turns car round and goes back. Stops and gets out of car walks round to front of car and takes food out of bonnet. Gets back into car and drives back to begin- ning. MS Man places parrot back on perch with other parrots. Tales another parrot off perch and walks out of picture with it. LS Man walks into pictures with parrot and picks up scooter from under table. CU Parrot gets on scooter and moves off down table l to r. MS Parrot gets to end of table. MS Children in audience. MS Two parrots start pulling chariots. MS Man stops parrots at other end and he picks them up in his hand.
