Shots of the balloon rising lit by searchlights. A technical problem led to the flight being aborted. Paperwork refers to the balloon as Picard's balloon - I think that it should be Piccard. Note: There are two Piccards - Jean and Auguste. They are identical twins so it is possible to confuse them in some records. | |
