Plans revealed for modernisation of Piccadilly Circus, London. London Opens with shot of cherub Eros in against the sky; then shot of the fountain Eros tops in front of the famous background of all the advertisments of Picadilly Circus. Signs for Coca-Cola; Cinzano; etc. Large clocks. Then a shot from another angle; with pedestrians; double-decker bus. Outside the Criterion, a sign above the doors says "Picadilly Tomorrow". CU Miniature model of plans for Picadilly; with skyscraper; modern geometric-shaped buildings. CU Architect's plans - side view, looks like everything changed except for Eros' fountain. Then a man standing in front of this plan lifts off this piece from a little platform sticking out horizontally. He shows the rectangular shaped object with lines to the center like spokes (this is some sort of plan for the "circus deck"). Next; a drawing of what Picadilly might look like.
