MS Boys looking on. C/U mechanisms of the watch. She then hands them some pieces of eight from sideboard. CU Hands taking pieces of eight. MS Showing them to boys. CU Pieces of eight - she unscrews it. C/U's of a split coin used for carrying secret messages. M/S as they open the original treasure chest and examine the pistols inside, one has notches to show how many kills have been made. Elizabeth turns it around to show the name 'Calico Jack'. MS Lock on chest. She demonstrates how all the levers work on the chest. MS She shuts lid. CU Boy looking. MS Puts bar through - turns key in lock - withdraws bar and takes key out. C/U as they open another treasure chest, and take out a model of a skull attached to a bible. CU Skull and Bible. M/S of secret drawer which contains a real treasure map. CU Buckles and buttons etc. of pirates clothing. Camera pans across the rest of the treasure to a portrait of Captain Kidd when he was a boy. C/U inscription of his name on the chest. | |
