CU Boy's hand holding oil can as he oils bottom of pogo stick. He then rubs oil on lower part of stick with cloth. MS Boy (Mr.Field's nephew) lookin down as he oils stick. LS A number of boys on pogo sticks warming up for race. LS Man in bowler hat blowing whistle and calling boys towards him. MS Man in bowler hat waving arm as boys congregate around him. He points to something o.s. LS Boys moving away in direction in which man pointed (starting line) They get into position while man gives directions. MS Two boys bent over pogo sticks waiting for starting instructions. They look up. MS Man in bowler hat holding pistol and shouting. LS Boys starting to hop on pogo sticks. As the boys gather speed. Boy neatest camera falls over. Low angle LS Boys feet on pogos jumping past camera MS Boys hopping past camera. High angle MS Boys legs jumping on pogos along ground. Low angle MS Boys legs on pogos jumping towards camera. Boy falls off but climbs back on pogo and carries on. MS Group of schoolboys shouting encouragement. Low angle MS Backs of boys as they jump away from camera into distance. MLS Finish of race as leading boy passes camera and goes out of frame. MS Group of onlookers cheering. MLS Four boys in circle having joisting competition on pogos. They push each other until one falls of pogo. Low angle. Now it's the girls' turn. MLS Legs of Windmill girls jumping up and down on pogos. LS Windmill girls on pogos. MS Girls jumping about on pogos. MS Girls on pogos and rear of girl nearest camera had L sign on it. LS Housewife(?) moving along street on pogo towards pillarbox. MS Woman moving towards pillarbox. She jumps off pogo and puts letter in box. She climbs back on to pogo and goes on her way. MLS Women hopping down street towards camera. MS Looking down at ground. Girl's feet hopping along on pogo. MS Taken from inside shop. Girl hopping past window. She jumps off pogo and looks into window at antiques. She turns and climbs back on pogo and goes on her way. MLS Girl hopping towards camera. MLS Minicar on Albert Embankment. It draws into kerbside. Man inside starts to open door. MLS Taken at rear of minicar. Man opens door and gets out. He slams door and walks round to boot and takes pogo from boot and holds it in hand. LS Man in bowler hat puts pogo on ground and jumps on to sticks and hops along road. MS Man hopping along road. LS Man hopping along zebra crossing. He turns round so his back is towards camera. Low angle MS Top of man as he bobs up and down on pogo. He waves hand takes bowler hat off and waves it in the air. He puts hat on head again. bobbing along as he does so. (humor, funny) | |
