| Description: | Operation "Life Saver" for a just born Polar Bear Cub in Milwaukee'- Washington Park Zoo. The two day old cub was disowned by its mother left shivering in the snow. Now in an incubator the cub was taken from its foster mother when it developed pneumonia. Its still sick but looking lively with a good chance to survive. A practical use for an adult polar bear has yet to be found but all the resources of medical science are employed to save an helpless, newborn. An adult polar bear walking around in its confines at the zoo. CUS - A newborn baby polo bear on a hot water bottle. MCUS - Zoo veterinarian taking the baby from the incubator to feed it. CUS - Hands of the vet feeding the baby polar bear milk from a baby bottle. CUS - The veterinarian is putting the baby polar bear back into the incubator, the eyes on the cub are still closed.
