Commentator talks of the history of the castle and mentions "A century and a half ago the grounds were first used for the most characteristic of English games - cricket, appropriately enough only a stone's throw from Hambledon where cricket is often said to have been invented". M/Ss of the cricket match being played; the batting side with a lone woman applauding. M/S of scorers looking out of a window; panning left and down to show a man changing the scoreboard.
