Josiah Wedgewood is named as the father of this pottery tradition). Artist Christine Barnett (sp?) paints designs on plates. Various shots of plates being tested and checked for faults. Panning shot of crockery. M/S of a man in overalls pushing over a pile of pottery which crashes to the ground. He picks up pieces of pottery then dashes them to the ground.
