Woman (who wears a dress that's all layers of white ruffles and a matching bonnet; she opens a fringed parasol; they exit gate and walk to rt. LS woman in more modern (although rather dowdy) clothing pushing baby in pram around curved garden path. LS same woman pushing a different pram, this one with front wheels that turn. MLS a more stylish lady in fur-trimmed coat poses holding handle of a pram made to resemble a miniature car or bus; the kid is looking out the window with delight; they are standing in front of a display window full of other prams. LS the woman pushing pram into park. MCU woman uses her foot to move bar, setting brake. LS she unfolds top of pram. MS she folds down top half of one side and the kid has a convertible and seems suitably overjoyed about it. LS the mother and child pair still standing on path. MLS mother folds up side again. Motor pram. MLS nursemaid in white uniform lifts baby into pram; a woman in street clothing sits on park bench holding handle of another pram. The nurse gives the toddler a stuffed animal, folds cover over kid's legs, then comes around to the handle. She seems to press a button on the handle, but one can't see her feet from this shot so it's a surprise when the pram suddenly zooms away down the path through the park, the nanny standing on little steps in the back. | |
