	Description:	C/U of the new President Lyndon Baines Johnson speaking of the tragedy (natural sound). Various shots of the ambulance, with military escort, driving up to the White House in the dark. Interior M/S of chandelier, pan down to coffin draped with American flag. L/S officials and military officers filing past. C/U coffin. L/S as coffin is carried along by military personnel and placed on gun carriage before funeral. M/S Jackie, heavily veiled, with Caroline and John Junior, Robert and Edward Kennedy. Peter Lawford and wife Patricia stand behind with other family members. M/S as John Junior walks forward and salutes. High angle shots as cortege moves towards Arlington National Cemetery. L/S horses drawing gun carriage and coffin. Black Watch pipers play lament. Various shots of the gun carriage moving slowly through the cemetery. L/S as the gun carriage comes to a stop and the coffin is taken off. L/S of the procession moving slowly to the graveside. L/S foreign personalities, Kings and Queens, together with French President Charles de Gaulle and others watching. Various shots of ceremony over graveside. M/S President Johnson, pan to bearers holding the American flag over the coffin. L/S President Johnson and the bearers, zoom into President de Gaulle with President Lubke of Germany on his right and Haile Selassie on his left, behind Selassie stands Ludwig Erhard of Germany. M/S of the flag bearers folding up the U.S. flag over the coffin. It is passed from one serviceman to another and then received by the Superintendent of the cemetery. L/S as the folded U.S. flag is handed to Jackie Kennedy. L/S Jackie lighting the eternal flame at the foot of the grave.
