Nixon comes down the steps with his wife, Patricia Nixon and is warmly greeted by President Nicolae Ceausescu and Rumanian party. After brief inspection of guard, each makes a short formal speech, (mute). MS President Nixon fighting his way through joyous crowds, shaking many hands as he does so. Var. good tracking shots through the excited crowd - lined streets of Bucharest, as the two presidents, in open car, make their way from the airport into the city.
