| Description: | NO AUDIO At Texas State Prison in Huntsville, convicts ride broncos and bulls in the 35th Annual Prison Rodeo. The proceeds help to build up educational and recreation funds. Each inmate cowboy takes pride in his ride....win, lose, or fall! Establishing shot - Exterior shot of Texas State Prison in Huntsville. A large crowd of people walking around. MS - The sidewalks are packed with people and streets are packed with cars. MS - Inside the arena, which sits next to the prison building. You see the horses ridden by the prisoners. CUS - One of the cow-boy prisoners checking out his saddle. MS - Stands packed with Rodeo enthusiast sitting in the hot afternoon sun. MS - Rodeo clowns walking with a banner; "Take A Convict Home With You". another banner held by the clowns; " Anyone Got A Ladder" more clowns another banner; "Would You Believe We Like Girls" MS - Prisoners behind a fenced in area. MS - First cowboy out of the stall and his horse bucks him off. MS - Another horse, another prisoner and he too gets bucked off the horse. MS - This horse started to buck so hard that the rider was sitting sideways on the horse. The next cowboy comes out riding a brahma bull needless to say his ride was short and other cowboys following the first brahma bull don't last long either. MS - All at one time they let out about 10 brahma bulls ridden by 10 cowboys, most of the cowboys managed to stay on and some bite the dust. | |
