| Description: | Heavy snows almost blot out a gridiron thriller as the Cleveland Browns defy weather with an aerial attack that snows under the Giants, 24-7, and their hopes for a conference title. Twenty seven thousand hardy fans in Yankee Stadium peer through the gloom as the Giants battle the Cleveland Browns and the weather to battle a 7-point deficit. MOHS - Frank Gifford picks up yardage, most of it sideways. MOHS - Connolly passes the ball and connects with Roth for a first down. MOHS - Connolly passes to Gifford, it is caught and its a touchdown. The game is tied up. MOHS - Brown's have the ball and O’Connell passes for 32 yards and it is caught. MOHS - O’Connell looks for a receiver and cant find one so he runs the ball himself close to the 1st yard line. OHS - O’Connell passes the ball, it is caught and it is carried in for a touchdown. The snow started to fall. The Brown's win the game 24 - 7. | |
