Large crowds watch from pavements. M/S of men in ceremonial robes on Palace balcony. They are lead out by Hereditary Earl Marshal of England, the Duke of Norfolk. After the heralds play a fanfare, the Garter King of Arms reads from scroll proclaiming Prince Albert the new king of England. The National Anthem - 'God Save the King' - is played.
