| Description: | MS mounted French colonial troops hold swords vertically. Procession coming down narrow street lined with French civilians: French army troops led by a row of men with muffled drums. Row of horse-drawn carts carrying the bodies of crash victims, accompanied by soldiers both walking and on horses. High-angle MS section of crowd. Back to shot looking up street as last cart, carrying wreaths, passes; behind it walk soldiers carrying more wreaths. Mourners / dignitaries walking in the funeral procession incl. some of survivors - -man with arm in a cast. French President Tardieu, M. Laurent Eynac and others. At the Gare de Beauvais the carts are lined up in a row; French military march past them. MLS VIPs, man with bandaged head, etc. stand on platform. MLS men load the coffins onto train. MS priest stands on platform beside doorway of train car as the coffins are carried past. Crowd moving. (NOTE: English v/o on this section.) Shots of crowd outside cathedral. Tracking shot past the huge crowd of people lined up outside cathedral. Group of people in ceremonial costume walk from coach at curb up steps past cam. MS group of more common people get off bus and walk up steps. MS Army officers coming up. Prince of Wales accompanied by some Anglican bishops walks past slowly, shakes hands with one of them. LS Grenadier guards incl band march slowly past crowd. Pan over crowd. GV pan on scene at cemetery; crowd watches as the flag-covered coffins are carried to a mass grave. Religious leader holding up hand, holding staff in other hand. GV over crowd as rifles fire a round.
