| Description: | Also contained in catalog # 491217 Rebla the Comedy Juggler. Pathe Studio, London. Rebla the Juggler walks onto a palm court restaurant set. He asks a man with him a riddle: "If a man jumps into a river, where is he when he jumped?" After a complicated exchange of question and answer, Rebla tells him that "I don't know... I've only just heard it - it's nothing to do with me". The man leaves and Rebla begins his juggling act with some small balls (accompanied by jaunty music - the old cinema favourite, 'Glad Rags'). Throughout the act he keeps a very straight, deadpan face and very casual style in spite of doing some very funny and slick moves. He ends by catching the balls in his top hat and putting it on his head. | |
