C/U profile of a man nodding and talking. C/U of the crown on the previous flag, it pans down to show the thistles and roses. M/S of a woman sat sewing a badge, other women are working behind her. C/U of the ornate badge which has a coat of arms embroidered on it. The narrator explains this firm in London provides most of the regalia to the Forces and civilian bodies like the Trade Unions. M/S of women sat at tables working on various bits of regalia, C/U of a woman stood showing a girl what to do. M/S as we see she is embroidering various signs on a piece of material. M/S of another woman embroidering an ornate gold pattern on a piece of black cloth, C/U of the pattern and the design it came from. C/U of her hand stitching the pattern. M/S of an elderly man sat at a drawing board, C/U as he traces a coat of arms onto some gold paper, he then puts the sheet on top of black cloth.
