Much footage is devoted to Oximeter demonstration of effectiveness of mouth-to-mouth technique vs. manual method. Film also depics common accidents resulting in respiratory arrest. Essentials which are depicted remain essentially unchanged to date with the notable exception of using thumb and fingers to keep victim's jaw in upward thrust position. The dress and grooming is typical of the 1950s.
