C/U as he holds up some cardboard and rubs down the side, he takes it away to show half the dog is clean and half still dirty. C/U of the dog's face as he rubs it, C/U of his hand as he dips the cotton wool in the water. C/U of dog's face, C/U of Mr Popple's face as he works. M/S as the man rubs the bristles of a camel hair brush against his cheek to charge it with static electricity. M/S as he uses it to pick up the leaf and put it on the frame. C/U as he uses another brush to smooth it down. M/S as more gilding is put on, C/U of the third man's face as he works. M/S of Mr Popple cleaning pictures, he takes the cardboard away and the cleaning has revealed another painting of a woman underneath the original one.
