| Description: | A peep behind the scenes at the BIP Studios, Elstree, where Paul L. Stein is directing - RICHARD TAUBER - The famous Star in a song from the film `Blossom Time'. L/S of Stein telling an actress on the set with Richard Tauber where to stand (they are both wearing period costume). It is very interesting behind the scenes footage of the film. Tauber can be seen standing next to a piano practising the scales briefly to warm up. The scene then starts the young actress in the scene says "Speak up then, say it, whistle it, sing it, but get on with it." Tauber ask if he can play on her piano, she promptly grants his request. M/S's of Tauber at the piano singing `Salutation of the Morning'. Several other members of the cast all appear very moved by Tauber's singing. | |
