	Description:	RIVER POLICE - RESCUE Reconstruction of an accident on the Thames - the River Police come to the rescue River Thames, London. River Police (officially known as Thames Division Metropolitan Police) are seen performing a training exercise - they rescue a man who has fallen ill on a barge. MS Police launch in mid-stream. LS Man signalling to the north MS Launch. MS Launch comes alongside the barge on which the man is standing. CU Man on bow as he jumps from the police launch to secure it to the barge. MS Man asking the sergeant to come with him. MS They run along the barge and man points down into the hold. Camera pan down to show another man lyning at the bottom. MS Sergeant instructs policeman to go to the launch. MS As he reaches the launch and hands the policeman on the launch the handkerchief which he then dips into the river water. He picks up a rope and hands the rope and the hanky to the waiting policeman. MS Policeman runs back with the rope and hanky and hand the rope to the sergeant and begins to tie the hanky round his face. CU Him tying the hanky round his face. MS As he comes forward to climb down into the hold. Sergeant throw down the rope. MS Taken from inside the hold of the policeman securing injured man with rope. CU Sergeant and man getting ready to hoist the injured man up. MS As he is hoisted out of the hold and laid onto the deck of the barge. MS Policeman climbs out of the hold and remove hanky from his face. MS Sergeant removing the rope from the injured man. MS Sergeant turns the man over. MS From a different angle as the two other policeman come into picture each carrying a case. CU Case being opened displaying breathing apparatus. MS Man places the apparatus over the injured man's face. CU Sergeant applying artificial respiration. MS Ditto. MS Policeman carries a stretcher and place it beside the injured man. CU As they remove rubber mask from man's face. CU Man watching. MS Policemen roll the injured man over onto the stretcher then strap him onto it. CU Man's head as Sergeant puts a strap round him. MS As they carry him away towards the launch. MS As they lower him into the launch and place him onto a bench. CU Injured man. MS Launch moves away from side of barge out into mid-stream.
