| Description: | ROAD SAFETY Hackney police put of road safety demonstration for children. Hackney, London. Chief Inspector Bartlett organises road safety demonstration for children and young people. The children sit behind a cordon whilst police officers dressed in costume act out correct and incorrect ways of crossing road. Real cars, trucks and motorcycles are involved in demonstration, which seems to be taking place on playground. Police officers also demonstrate other dangerous road habits such as cycling carrying a ladder or hitching a lift by hopping onto back of trucks. Demonstration has a serious message conveyed in light hearted way, the policemen look comical dressed as old women and schoolboys. Some of these shots look like real car accidents. | |
