| Description: | US President makes tour of new Georgia Settlement. This was Roosevelt's drive by tour. Pine Mountain, Georgia, United States of America (USA). VS of people at their farming settlement - lots of cows and horse drawn carts. LS choir of local school children sing as President Franklin D Roosevelt drives up in his car. The children are singing 'Happy Days Are Here Again'. Lots of Stars and Stripes flags are on display. The President is show a quilt made by local women. MS of FDR making speech from car - he compliments the choir on the improvements in their singing since his last visit. The children sing another song as he drives away. Infantile Paralysis Foundation, Warm Springs. Various shots of young polio sufferers - many in their wheelchairs - waiting for the arrival of the President. A close harmony choir of African-American singers perform. As the President drives in, the voiceover notes the he suffered polio as a child and his car is designed so he doesn't have to use his feet to drive. VS of the children listening to the choir.
